Thoughts & Beliefs
By Rome Canzano
I believe in REDEMPTION.
I believe that anybody can recover from a bad situation.
I know that in a majority of situations an arrest is just symptom of an underlying problem which needs to be addressed, perhaps it’s an alcohol or drug addiction or mental health problem.
I know that the majority of people who are arrested are not guilty but instead are accused of making bad choices and just need help.
My job, to put it plain and simple, is to help people. It is to help people take the worst situation in their lives and make it the turning point for positive change.
People can change.
I can help.
Whether it’s a DWI or a Felony, I will help. I will step into your situation, review the case, the evidence and then develop a plan to make sure that there is as little interruption in your life as possible.
I understand that an arrest is one of the most, if not the most, traumatic and life-altering event anybody can experience.
I understand that being questioned by the police on the side of the road or your house, and especially at the police station can be confusing and intimidating. I will help you through this process.
Experience matters. I have handled thousands of cases in multiple counties on both sides; I was a prosecutor in the Onondaga and Cayuga County District Attorney’s Offices.
I have been involved in countless interrogations, meetings and debriefings with police and prosecutors. You need to have somebody with you through this process to make sure that your rights are protected and to make sure you have a clear understanding of what’s happening and what could happen.
Life has its ups and downs, and I get involved when you are down, when it is the worst possible and when you are scared, confused and sometimes in jail.
An arrest is an emergency. It’s a dramatic change in your life when you're asked to make dramatic decisions. Making the right decision can literally impact the rest of your life.
I will help before an arrest, during the arrest and after an arrest, in Court.
Most people believe that an arrest means that their life is over. It is not over. An arrest is just the dramatic beginning of the process, not the end. But, an arrest may cause most people to turn their back on you, to change their opinion of you. I will help you save your life and your reputation.
